How long before I make a profit?
This is number 1 question we get from prospective customers. The answer, unfortunately, is not an easy one.
The conversion rate of this type of business is very low. For every 1000 visitors to your site you may only see 1 or 2 sales.
The name of the game here is traffic and how much can you drive to your site.
We provide some of the basic tools to assist you in generating more traffic and sales, however you will need to do some of
your own marketing both on and off the internet. It may take several months before you see your first sale. The key to
your long term success will be your persistence and marketing efforts.
We have found that interacial sites and fetish sites tend to do better than others.
How soon after I sign up will my site be available?
In most cases, your site is up and running within one business day.
How do I get paid?
You will be required to sign up with one or more of the credit card processing companies we support. They have
their own methods of payment and payment schedules. You will have to contact them for specifics on how and when you will be paid.
Which payment processing companies are supported?
CCBill and Verotel are supported for payment processing.
How much does it cost to get started?
Your site hosting and content management costs a one-time $25 setup fee and then JUST $9.95 a month,
if you start with our MyAdultSite Lite hosting plan. If you need to buy a domain name for your site,
that's an additional $15.00.
When your site's ready for paying members, you must upgrade to our MyAdultSite Standard hosting plan, which is only $29.95
a month. Our MyAdultSite Standard and Premium hosting plans include integrating your site with your chosen payment
processor (CCBill or Verotel). This makes it possible for you to have members that signup online with instant access, and
pay by credit card. Additionally, depending on your credit card processor, you may incur additional fees associated
with Visa credit card registration.
Can I pay for service via check or money order?
Unfortunately, we are not able to accept checks or money orders as a payment method. Our integrated billing system is unable to
determine if a check has been received. Requiring credit card payments allows us to automate much of our back end processes and
avoid interruptions in service due to human error.
Do you provide content?
No, we do not provide any content other than the site templates that hold each site together.
Can I upload video to my site?
Yes, supported formats include AVI, WMV and MPEG video clips.
I already have my own domain name, can I use it with your service?
Yes, you can register a domain name with any registrar. During the sign up process you will be prompted
for the domain name we should associate to your site.
I already have a web site but I am unhappy with my webmaster, can I switch to your service?
Yes, please contact our customer support team before making any changes so we can insure the
switch happens smoothly.
If I sign up today, how long will it take before my site is active?
Your site is usually active within 1 business day, often times sooner.
Who owns the copyrights on my site?
You own the copyrights to all content you post on your site (assuming you owned them to start with),
you do not own the copyrights for the site design or the software we developed to hold your site together.
I don't see a theme that I like, can one be customized?
For an additional fee, our designers will work with you to develop a theme more in line with your type of content.
